Reg: G-AWZKOperator: BEA - British European AirwaysType: Hawker Siddeley HS.121 Trident 3B-101 C/n: 2312Location: Manchester - Ringway (MAN / EGCC), UK This latterly British Airways Trident was saved from the scrapman after its time as a ground trainer at Heathrow, and relocated to the Runway Viewing Park at Manchester, resplendent in its original BEA colours from the 1970s. Built in 1971 at Hatfield the aircraft served in airline service for BEA and BA until 1985 when it was retired.
