A7-MHH - Qatar Amiri Flight, Airbus A.319-115X ACJ (c/n 3994) Operated for the Qatar Government but not in the usual Qatar Airways scheme, this Airbus ACJ departs Dubai during the 2011 air show. 14 November 2011

EP-ICD - Iran Air Cargo, Boeing 747-21AC (SCD) (c/n 24134 l/n 712) Landing in Dubai after sunset, a slow shutter speed was needed to capture this former Martinair aircraft slowing on runway 30L. Panned at 1/25th second, ISO250. 14 November 2011

B-015L - AVIC, Xian Aircraft Industrial Corporation MA600 (c/n 09 7 III 07) The Modern Ark 600 demonstrator performing at the 2011 Dubai Air Show, a very welcome addition to the military dominated flying display. 13 November 2011

ET-ANP - Ethiopian Airlines, Boeing 777-260LR (c/n 40772, l/n 914) Ethiopian use a varied mix of Boeing types into Dubai, here one of their Long Range 777s is captured landing on 30L before the bi-annual airshow began. 13 November 2011

RA-96010 - Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Ilyushin IL-96-300 (c/n 74393201007) The IL-96 was designed as the replacement for the IL-86 but has seen only limited service by comparison. Aeroflot operate six of the type, and "N.Kapreyev" is seen landing on runway 30L at Dubai. 13 November 2011

EP-QFB - Fars Air Qeshm, Yakovlev Yak-42D (c/n 4520422003019) Perhaps the last regular Yak-42 operator into Dubai, this machine is captured rolling out on 30L after a short hop over the Persian Gulf. 15 November 2009
